Apparently, some adult men still grabbed Pioneer Feelings while listening to teenage love songs.
In a schematic diagram of a pool hall from this weekend Reggie Jean Page– Episode hosted by Saturday Night LiveOne choice on a jukebox turned the world of a group of brothers-men upside down. After Paige’s character briefly pauses the usual sweet guys talk to squeezing Olivia Rodrigo’s “drivers license”, the rest of the men – among them Beck Bennett, Alex Moffat, Mickey Day, Pete Davidson, Kenan Thompson, and Boyne Yang – decide to have a full emo.
“I mean she tore off a page from my diary notebookI mean normal brown skin … I can’t read or write! He announced the character of Bennett, trying to cover tracks of his diaries.
The men set out to compare Rodrigo’s art to that of Billie Eilish and Taylor Swift, which was almost shocking when Davidson’s character became somewhat diminutive in surveying Swift’s career. Luckily, Kate McKinnon is there too, playing an old man crushing beef by telling boys to be silent and listening to “The Bridge of Our Lives.”
The enthusiastic singing group that followed is not to be missed! (Watch the full clip below).
Elsewhere in the episode, Britney Spears talk show parody Ted Cruz addressed Gina Carano And the Andrew Cuomo, Davidson gave us his best impression of Jack Skellington (although Day’s Chicken legs were arguably scary), and Bad Bunny took to the stage to perform “La Noche de Anos” alongside Rosalia.
