The Warrior Princess is fighting to save humanity in The Last Dragon Raya and Trailer

Disney has released the full official trailer for its upcoming animated movie, Raya and the last dragon, With Kelly Marie Tran and Okwafina voicing the titular characters. It stands out as the first Disney animation feature to be developed remotely in response to the COVID-19 pandemic, working with home equipment and communicating mostly via Zoom. The pandemic also caused the film to change its release date several times. It’s now scheduled for release on March 5, either in theaters or on Disney + with a premium access.

Disney announced the film for the first time during the 2019 D23 Expo and introduced co-directors Don Hole (Big Hero 6Moana(And Carlos Lopez Estrada)Frozen II, Blindspotting) On D23 the following year. The fairy tale land of Commandra was inspired by several different cultures in Southeast Asia – Thailand, Vietnam, Cambodia, Myanmar, Malaysia, Laos and the Philippines – and the production team traveled extensively to most of those countries in search of the movie. A visual anthropologist from Lao also reviewed the final designs.

The trailer begins with Raya confronting Little Noi, who appears to be deserted in an alley, only to discover that the young trickster artist has some acrobatic and martial arts skills. Tot enlists, on a quest to find the last dragon, along with Tong and Bon. But they aren’t the only ones looking for Sisu, and when Ria finally finds her, Neamari and her followers were waiting. “You and the dragon are coming with me,” said Al-Naimari, but Raya does not have it. “My sword here says we are not.” Perhaps we can expect an epic confrontation between these two at the end of the movie.
