LG’s new vacuum cleaner, the ridiculous name LG CordZeroThinQ A9 Compressor Plus, It should be a little easier to empty out than most cordless vacuums. Its charging station is equipped with a “fully automatic dust removal system”, which sucks the contents of a vacuum’s dustbin into a dust bag while the device is being charged.
We have seen similar automatic emptying features in robotic vacuum cleaners like iRobot Roomba i7 Plus Before, but LG’s solution is unique in the world of cordless vacuum cleaners. Samsung A. Clean station To work with a vertical vacuum cleaner, but using it first involves separating the vacuum cleaner waste bin, rather than it automatically happening while charging.
As someone who often has to access their Dyson V10 vacuum cleaner trash to throw out all of the raw materials, I can see the appeal of automating the process. But for larger jobs, like sweeping an entire house or apartment, you might have to empty your LG CordZeroThinQ A9 Kompressor Plus in the middle of cleaning instead of waiting to empty it automatically when charging. We hope your cargo station dust bags are large enough (and cheap enough) that you don’t need to be emptied often.
In addition to emptying the trash, LG says the charging stand equipped with a touch screen can also house six vacuum cleaner accessories and nozzles, such as the existing vacuum chargers from Dyson and Xiaomi. LG accessories include 2-in-1 collector, crevice tool, pet nozzle, electric carpet nozzle and electric mop. It includes two sets of batteries and washable filters.
LG’s press release doesn’t say how much all of this will cost or when it will be available. However, I promised that the LG CordZeroThinQ A9 Kompressor Plus would be on display at its virtual booth at this year’s virtual CES, so stay tuned.
