After a long winter – especially if you live with children – everyone in your household will probably be ready to go out. And if your family got into the gardening business last spring and is stuck at home, they might be looking for some new projects. In fact, according to a survey he conducted Cinch Home ServicesIn 2021, 54% of homeowners indicated that they will make improvements to their property, with 35% of them in their backyards.

This spring, Lowe’s home improvement chain looks to capitalize on our interest in spending more time outside. “Spring seems very metaphorical this year.” Said Marisa Talberg, executive vice president of Lowe, director of branding and marketing at Interview with USA TODAY. “We are already seeing this interest growing really rapidly as the weather is starting to get warmer in different parts of the country.”

To attract new and existing customers to the store (or at least on the sidewalk), Lowe’s offers a different set of gardening tools every week in April. Here’s how to get one (or four).

How to get a gardening kit

This giveaway takes a little preparation – which is why I’m telling you about it now. You can’t just roll over to the Lowe’s and get this free gardening kit; First you have to sign up for one. Registration for the week’s toolkit (via Lowes.com) begins one week before each week Donates. So, the first set will be available on April 8th, and you can sign up for one set starting April 1st.

Here is the weekly schedule for what is Up for grabs in April:

  • April 8: Recipes from Cooking and Food Designer Amanda Fredrickson
  • April 15Mystery Garden Piñata: with mysterious seed packets
  • April 22: Free tree seedlings for Earth Day
  • April 29: Supplies to create a butterfly garden

It is one such situation “while supplies are running,” so if you are observing one (or all) of these freebies, you will probably want to register early. The good news is, you don’t have to go inside to get your preference: Free Garden-to-Go kits will be available for pickup on the sidewalk.
