Anthony Davis left Sunday’s game against the Denver Nuggets after suffering from an Achilles tendon strain.
Los Angeles Lakers Declare the diagnosis During the second half. Davis will have an MRI scan on Monday.
Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reported that Davis had aggravated tendons in the Achilles tendon and had swelling. The Los Angeles Lakers star did not return in the second half after suffering an injury late in the second quarter
The Lakers All-Star Anthony Davis exacerbated the right Achilles tendon, and there is some swelling, the source told ESPN. He’ll get an MRI on Monday.

Davis limps off the field on his own
Davis was injured while driving towards the basket past the Nikola Jukic Nuggets Center. He frowned when he planted his right leg and left, limping after Gokic was exposed in the play. He extended his hand to grasp his right ankle, but managed to stay in the match for a while to take free throws.
The Lakers then made a foul to allow Davis to exit the match with 2:36 remaining in the first half. He walked cautiously into the locker room by himself.
Davis missed last week’s time with Achilles disease
Davis missed two games last week after he had been Diagnosed with right Achilles tendon disease, a Chronic tendon disease. Sunday marked his second match after injury.
Davis, a seven-time All-Star star, averages 22.9 points, 8.6 rebounds, 3.1 assists and 1.9 blocks while he shoots 53.5 percent of the field.
